Biography
2005-06: Tedeschi was an all-conference and all-state performer in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke. He won the conference title and placed third at the state championships in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.90) and second in both the conference and state meets in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.53). Tedeschi’s time in the 200-yard breaststroke places him fifth on the Bombers’ top-times list and his time in the 100-yard breaststroke is good for sixth all-time. He also placed 12th in the 200-yard individual medley at the state championships. Tedeschi was a member of the fifth-place 400-yard medley relay, the sixth-place 200-yard medley relay and the seventh-place 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay teams. He recorded six wins in the 200-yard breaststroke and one in the 100-yard breaststroke.
2004-05: Tedeschi earned second-team Empire 8 honors by finishing second in the conference and state meets in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:10.35). He added a fourth-place state and conference finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.95). Tedeschi's times in both events rank sixth all-time at Ithaca. Tedeschi also recorded an eighth-place finish at the conference meet in the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.56). On the season, Tedeschi recorded nine victories. In Ithaca's victory over Rochester, he swam with the winning 400-yard medley relay and also won the 200-yard breaststroke. Tedeschi was the only Bomber to record a victory against Geneseo, winning the 200-yard breaststroke.
2003-04: Tedeschi finished sixth on the team with 308 points in his first season. At the UNYSCSA meet he finished fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.25), seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.69) and 15th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.53). Tedeschi placed third in the 200-yard breaststroke, sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke and 12th in the 200-yard individual medley at the conference meet. His times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke rank 10th and ninth, respectively, all-time at Ithaca.
High School: A 2003 graduate of Orchard Park High School, Tedeschi was coached by Dale Heimlich and Art Aurgst. He was a four-year letter winner as a member of the swimming & diving team and set a school record in the 100-yard breaststroke. Tedeschi and was a four-year state qualifier and was named team MVP his senior year.
Personal: A cinema and photography major, he is the son of Mark and Linda Tedeschi.
