Division II Bloomsburg Defeats Men's Swimming and Diving, 113.5-90.5

Bloomsburg, Pa. -- The men's swimming and diving team fell to 0-3 on the season after a 113.5-90.5 loss at Division II Bloomsburg. Junior Charles Suozzi (Guilford/Guilford, Conn.) posted victories in the 200- butterfly (2:07.41) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.84) for the Bombers.
 
Ithaca’s 400-yard medley relay team of juniors Shea O’Neill (Lower Merion/Bala Cynwyd, Pa.), Suozzi and Mark Tedeschi (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) and freshman Mike Ariel (Xavarian Brothers/Norwood, Mass.) placed first with a time of 3:46.28. Tedeschi also posted a virtory in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:17.07. Sophomore Matt Olko (Rye/Harrison) posted a pair of second-place finishes in the 50- (22.79) and 100-yard (51.16) freestyle events.
 
The Bombers will next compete at Hamilton on Saturday, Nov. 19, at noon.
