Sept. 27 vs. St. John Fisher

Sophomore quarterback Josh Felicetti (Central Bucks East/Doylestown, Pa.) threw for a career-high 271 yards and rallied 13th-ranked Ithaca to a 19-18 win at Hartwick (0-2, 0-1 Empire 8). Felicetti scored the winning touchdown on a four-yard run with 2:00 left in regulation as the Bombers beat Hartwick with a fourth-quarter rally for the second year in a row. Senior linebacker Robert Truman (Allegany-Limestone/Allegany) intercepted a Hartwick pass with 1:08 left to seal the Bomber win. Felicetti drove Ithaca 62 yards on just four plays to score the winning touchdown. He completed passes of 32 yards to junior wide receiver Jeff Welch (Ithaca/Ithaca) and 26 yards to sophomore wide receiver Justin Esposito (Fayetteville-Manlius/Manlius) before scoring the winning touchdown. The Hawks moved the ball 13 yards after returning the ensuing kickoff to their own 15 before Truman recorded Ithaca's fourth interception of the game. Truman finished with a game-high 11 tackles, including a sack. Felicetti was responsible for Ithaca's first two touchdowns. He completed a 36-yard pass to freshman wide receiver Brandon Decheine (North Tonawanda/North Tonawanda) to cap the Bombers' opening drive and scored on a two-yard run midway through the second quarter. He completed 14 of 35 passes and raised his career total to 1,691 passing yards, good for ninth place on the program's all-time list after just 10 games. The Hawks had taken their first lead on a 23-yard pass in the fourth quarter. Ithaca stopped the Hawks' two-point attempt when senior free safety Peter Mayer (Hamilton/Hubbardsville) knocked away a conversion pass in the end zone. Ithaca blocked Hartwick's extra-point attempts after both of those touchdowns, with junior defensive tackle Alex Shafiro (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) knocking the first down and freshman tackle Dave Celeste (North Tonawanda/North Tonawanda) blocking the second attempt. Welch was the game's leading receiver, posting career-high totals of five catches for 106 yards. Senior running back Pete Celebre (Strath Haven/Wallingford, Pa.) ran for 106 yards. Senior strong safety Jon Edgcomb (Honeoye Falls-Lima/Honeoye Falls) recorded 10 tackles for Ithaca and forced a pair of fumbles.
