The 18th-ranked Ithaca Bombers withstood three Hobart possessions in Ithaca territory in the fourth quarter, holding on for a 14-7 win over the visiting Hobart Statesmen. Hobart turned the ball over on downs twice in the fourth quarter; the Statesmen's quarterback was sacked on a fourth-and-two play from the Bomber nine by Ithaca junior defensive tackle
Jeff Kasarjian (Cazenovia/Cazenovia) with 8:59 left and on Hobart's next possession, the Statesmen completed a short pass to the Ithaca 43 that resulted in a one-yard loss when the receiver was tackled by junior cornerback

Edgcomb knocked down a pass at the goal line. The win was the Bombers' 12th straight at home and dropped Hobart's record to 0-13 in games played at Ithaca. Ithaca scored the winning touchdown with 2:27 left in the third quarter on a 22-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback

Tosh recorded eight tackles and broke up a pair of passes.
