Herrington comes to Ithaca from north of the border, as she recently completed her collegiate career at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. A native of Newmarket, Ontario, Herrington appeared in 59 total matches over her four seasons for the Axewomen. Serving as Acadia's primary setter over her final two seasons, she amassed career totals of 1,268 assists, 82 kills and 58 service aces, while defensively she delivered 301 digs and 27 total blocks. During her final season with the program she was named an AUS Second Team All-Star. Herrington will join the program as a graduate assistant coach.
