Chapman went 5-1 at the Empire 8 Championship Tournament including a win at first singles over Nazareth that clinched Ithaca's come-from-behind victory in the title match. The Empire 8 title -- Ithaca's second straight and fifth in eight years -- carries with it for the first time an automatic bid to the NCAA championships.
