Sophomore Brian Scardella (Oswego/Oswego) was named the Empire 8 Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week after recording a pair of ECAC qualifying marks at Cornell’s Robert Kane Invitational. He finished in fourth place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.62 seconds, coupled with a ninth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.46 meters.
