Katherine Pitman won a national title in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor National Championships on March 10, finishing with a mark of 4.18 meters. With this mark, she surpassed the previous DIII national meet record by .01 meters, which was set in 2011. Pitman is now the 36th individual national champion in history at Ithaca College.
