Junior Katherine Pitman broke Ithaca's school record in the pole vault with a mark of 3.80 meters (12 feet, 5.5 inches) and won the event over 20 competitors at the Greg Page Relays hosted by Cornell. Pitman topped the previous best mark set by senior Alex Rechen last winter of 3.72 meters, and also qualified for ECACs.

She was named Empire 8 Conference Field Athlete of the Week on Dec. 7.
