Petermann repeated as Outstanding Field Event Performer at the Empire 8 Championships, winning the javelin (with an NCAA qualifying performance) and discus. He also placed fourth in the shot put, fifth in the long jump, sixth in the high jump and seventh in the pole vault (11.85 meters).
