Sophomore Dom Mikula, the men's Field Performer of the Week, highlighted the competition for Ithaca at Cornell on Saturday as he broke his own school record in the pole vault with a first place showing of 4.95 meters (16 feet, 2.75 inches), which was .15 meters higher than the runner-up from Cornell. Mikula surpassed his previous school record of 4.81 meters set earlier this year.
