Gage remained unbeaten in his career in the 200-yard freestyle, winning the UNYSCSA title in an NCAA B time of 1:42.82 (Ithaca's third-fastest time ever). He placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (his time of 21.49 is the program’s fifth-fastest ever) and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.59) and swam on Ithaca's third-place 800-yard freestyle relay team, the fourth-place the 400-yard freestyle relay team, the sixth-place 400-yard medley relay team and the sixth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team.
