Sean Fitzmaurice transitioned from the football staff to his current role in the athletic department in the summer of 2013. His responsibilites include equipment and operations for teams based out of the Ceracche Center, equipment procurement for the athletic department, supervision of student staff, and game-day operations for Hill Center-based varsity sports. Fitzmaurice is also responsible for scheduling Upper Terrace fields for practices and games and holds a supervisory role in approvals and implementation of the newly-created athletics identity.
He obtained his certification in equipment management through the American Equipment Managers Association in the summer of 2013.
Fitzmaurice served as an assistant football coach at Ithaca for nine seasons from 2004-12. He's helped lead Ithaca to three NCAA playoff appearances and Empire 8 titles in 2004, 2005 and 2008.
Fitzmaurice graduated from Ithaca College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in social studies education with a minor in coaching. He served as an operations intern with the Senior PGA Tour in the 2001-09 seasons.
