Biography

2005-06: Daffinee went 7-10 with a 3-4 dual-match record, despite moving from 165 to heavyweight in midseason. Wrestling at heavyweight, he won his debut during the Budd Whitehill National Duals and posted a major decision in Ithaca’s win over Division I Delaware State.

2004-05: Daffinee recorded his first career tournament title, winning the 184-pound class at the Alfred State Invitational. He also took third at Buffalo’s UB Open (where Ithaca was the only Division III team competing). Daffinee posted a victory in his dual-match debut, winning by major decision against Muskingum at the Budd Whitehill National Duals.
 
2003-04: Daffinee recorded a fourth-place finish at the Jefferson Community College Invitational. He posted a win in his first career match, pinning the fifth seed at the Ithaca Invitational. Daffinee went 3-2 at that tournament. He recorded a pair of pins at the RIT Invitational, helping the Bombers win the team title.
 
2002-03: Daffinee redshirted as a freshman.
 
High School: A 2002 graduate of Binghamton High School, Daffinee was coached by Tom Beatty. He placed fourth at the Section IV championships.
 
Personal: A mathematics major, he is the son of Paul Daffinee and Gretchen Dunneman. His brother, Mason, graduated from Ithaca in 2002.
