2023-24: Came back and competed as a graduate student where he was a national qualifier for the second-straight season...Concluded the season with a 33-7 record that included 11 falls, nine tech falls and five major decision wins...Came back after dropping a bout in the NCAA Mideast Regional and scored a third-place result defeating Thomas Monn by a 4-2 decision to continue his postseason run...Became a five-time NWCA Scholar All-American and was named to the CSC Academic All-District team. | 2023-24 Stats

2022-23: Beyer completed his senior season at the 149 LB weight class finishing with a 25-9 record...He had a 6-1 dual meet record and a tournament record of 19-8...He collected four major decisions, two technical falls, and four falls over the course of the season... Beyer placed in two regular season tournaments. He took fourth in the Ithaca Invitational and second in the New Standard Invite... Beyer made a run in the postseason taking second in the NCAA Mideast Regional Tournament earning himself a qualifying bid for the NCAA National Championships...Was named NWCA Scholar All-American. 2022-23 Stats

2021-22: In his junior year, Beyer had a breakout season for the Bombers, finishing the season with a 32–7 record overall... He recorded 10 falls, five technical falls, nine decisions, seven major decisions, and two forfeits to total his 32 wins...Beyer took home first place in the New York State Championships and the ECWC Championships in the 149 LB weight class...Beyer also recorded notable finishes in the Spartan Invitational and the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships at 149 LB, with third and fourth place finishes respectively...Beyer was named to the ECWC All-Academic Team and a NWCA Scholar All-American for the third straight year. | 2021-22 Stats

2019-20: Beyer made his collegiate debut during the 2019-20 campaign...He finished the season with an overall record of 20-9, recording a 16-6 record in tournament-style competition and a 4-3 mark in duals...He registered three major decisions, one technical fall, and 11 falls among his 20 victories...He scored place finishes at three events during the year at New York State Championships, NUWAY College Open, and the ECWC Championships...Was named ECWC All-Academic and NWCA Scholar All-American. | 2019-20 Stats

High School: Attended Pascack Valley High School where under coach Tom Gallione, he was a three time NJ State Qualifier and helped his team to win their first ever Team State Sectional Championship. He was 1st Team All-North Jersey, BCCA County Champion, and twice named 1st Team All-County. He also was a member of the National Honor Society and was elected each year as the Student Council Treasurer.

Personal: Matthew, son of Gary and Ann Marie Beyer, is a business major.
