Biography

2008-09: Amazan won a career-best 15 matches and his three wins by technical fall ranked third on the team. He pinned six of his opponents and won once by major decision. Amazan placed fourth at the JCC Open.

2009-10: Amazan won 13 bouts, including dual-match wins in victories over Oswego and McDaniel. He won three times by fall and once by major decision. Amazan placed fifth at York’s Spartan Classic, helping the Bombers to the team title.

2008-09: Amazan won a career-best 15 matches and his three wins by technical fall ranked third on the team. He pinned six of his opponents and won once by major decision. Amazan placed fourth at the JCC Open.

2007-08: Amazan won 12 matches as a Bomber freshman. He placed second at the Jefferson Community College Open. Amazan opened his career by posting three victories at the Ithaca Invitational, winning one bout by fall and another by major decision.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Uniondale High School, Amazan was coached by Tim Codey. He earned four letters and was an all-conference and all-county competitor.

Personal: An exercise science major, he is the son of Jean and Monique Amazan.
