Biography

2012-13 Stats

2011-12: Doliscar enjoyed a spectacular first season with the Bombers, earning all-America honors, capturing the ECWC individual title and ranking among the national leaders in pins. He won 23 of his first 24 bouts, including 15 by fall. Doliscar was named MVP of the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals, helping the Bombers to a fourth-place finish by winning all four of his matches. Those victories included a major decision over the nation’s fourth-ranked wrestler and a decision over Division III’s top-ranked wrestler. Doliscar won the ECWC title with three lopsided wins – a 9-4 decision and a pair of falls that took just 1:34 of wrestling time. His season total of 19 pins tied Ithaca’s school record, ranked second in Division III and was the second-highest total by any 174-pound wrestler at any level of collegiate wrestling. Doliscar won tournament titles at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational (he pinned four of his five opponents there) and York’s New Standard Corporation Invitational. He was named ECWC Wrestler of the Week twice during the season and was d3wrestle.com’s national Wrestler of the Week following his 4-0 record at the Cliff Keen National Duals. Doliscar earned all-state recognition with a third-place finish at the all-division New York State Championships (he went 3-1, losing only to a Division III opponent and pinning a wrestler from Cornell in the third/fourth-place match). His 36 victories matched Ithaca’s fifth-highest single-season total and ranked third in Division III at his weight class.

2009-11: Doliscar attended Nassau College, where he was coached by Paul Schmidt. Doliscar was a two-time NJCAA all-American and a two-time place-winner at the all-division New York State Championships, where he finished fifth as a freshman and fourth last winter.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Holy Trinity High School, Doliscar was coached by Mike Savello. He was a three-time place-winner at the league championship meet. Doliscar was a two-time runner-up at the Catholic state championships.

Personal: An occupational therapy major, he is the son of Jules Doliscar, Sr.
