2017-18: Puente went 3-10 in his debut season...All three of his victories came with bonus points, as he finished with one major decision and two falls...He appeared in five different competitions on the year, a list that included: Ithaca Invitational, New York State Collegiate Championships, New Standard Spartan Invitational, ECWC Championships, and the Jamestown Community College Open. | 2017-18 Stats

High School: Puente was a two-year letter-winner at Queen of Peace, before going on to wrestle for one season at Tompkins Cortland Community College. He was a New Jersey Second Team All-Northern Conference wrestler during his junior campaign, while he was a First Team selection during his senior season, in which he helped Queen of Peace to an undefeated 12-0 conference record in dual matches.
