Biography

Major Accomplishments:
SUNYAC Men's Wrestling Rookie of the Week - 11/10/2025

High School: McAteer was a four-year varsity wrestler for Xaverian Brothers High School. A state finalist and placer, he was a two-time sectional champion, three-time sectional finalist, and three-time Catholic Conference All-Star. McAteer also earned two team MVP honors during his high school career at 133 pounds.

Personal: George is the son of David and Lorraine McAteer. He has two siblings.
