Biography

2017-18: Mase continued his evolution into one of the top 125-pounders in the country during his junior campaign, surging over 30-victories on the year for the first time in his career...He finished with a 32-7 overall record, which included a 12-1 record in dual competition...He earned place finishes at three different events during the regular season at the Ithaca Invitational, New Standard Spartan Invitational, and the ECWC Championships...Mase punched his ticket to his first career NCAA Nationals with a runner-up showing at the NCAA Mideast Regionals...Continued his momentum by earning his first career NCAA All-America honor with a seventh-place finish, posting a victory over the top-seeded wrestler in Central's CJ Pestano along the way...He finished the year with 16 bonus-point victories with three major decisions, five technical falls, and eight falls. | 2017-18 Stats

2016-17: Mase logged a 27-14 overall record, with a 6-3 mark in dual meet bouts. 11 of his victories came by decision, three by major decision, and five by technical fall. He also notched seven pins on the year. | 2016-17 Stats

2015-16: Mase was an immediate contributor for the Bombers, posting a 25-14 overall record and a 6-3 mark in dual meet bouts during his freshman season. Of his 25 victories, two came as major decisions, while he also posted one technical fall and six pins. He posted two place finishes at invitational tournaments during the year, coming in sixth at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational and third at the ECWC Championships. High School: Mase graduated from The Phelps School in 2015, where he earned two varsity letters in wrestling under head coach Ira Miles. Before The Phelps School, he also earned two varsity letters in wrestling at Eastern Regional High School, under head coach Bobby Stinson. During his time at The Phelps School, he finished sixth at the 2014 Prep Nationals. At Eastern Regional, he was a New Jersey State Qualifier and Region runner-up in 2013. In 2012 he was the District Champion. Mase also earned two varsity letters in cross country and one varsity letter in lacrosse while at the Phelps school. 

Personal: Ferdinand, the son of Ferdinant Mase and Paula Raroha, is an exploratory student.
