Ithaca College Athletics

2008-09: Carabello started his career by placing first at the Ithaca Invitational and ended his freshman season at nationals after winning an ECWC title. He was named ECWC Rookie of the Week three times and earned all-state honors with a fourth-place finish at the New York State Championships. Carabello took sixth at the Sunshine Open and won nine bouts by either major decision or fall.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, Carabello was a four-time country champion and won two sectional titles. A two-time state qualifier (and fifth-place finisher as a senior), he collected 144 wins and 65 pins in his career. He also lettered in football and baseball.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of John and Tracey Carabello. His sister Andrea is a member of the swimming & diving team at Cabrini College.
