Biography

2004-05: Lockard earned the Jim Howard Award, given to Ithaca’s Most Improved Wrestler. He doubled his win total and won two of his three dual meets (his only loss came by two points to the nation’s seventh-ranked wrestler). Lockard finished third at the Jefferson Community College Invitational.
 
2003-04: Lockard won the Jack Stanbro “Heart” Award at the team’s postseason banquet. He recorded a third-place finish at the Jefferson Community College Invitational.
 
2002-03: Lockard competed at three events, including the season-opening Ithaca Invitational.
 
High School: At Upper Dublin High School, Lockard was coached by Dave Jones. He placed fifth at the district championships as a senior and was named team MVP.
 
Personal: A journalism major, he is the son of John and Margery Lockard. He is a three-year member of the Bomber men’s soccer team.
