2012-13: Sanko earned five overall wins as a junior and collected one fall, mainly at 165. He also placed fourth at the York Spartan Invitational. I 2012-13 Stats

2011-12: In his first season at Ithaca, Sanko posted a 6-3 record with a 3-2 mark in dual-match competition. He went 2-1 at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational, shutting out a pair of opponents for his first two collegiate victories. Sanko recorded his first career fall during the NYS Championships, pinning an opponent from Division I Columbia. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2010-11: Sanko was a member of the wrestling team at Ursinus College where he was coached by Bill Racich. Sanko did not see any competition time for the Division III Bears because of an injury.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Hamburg High School, Sanko was coached by Kevin Simpson and Derek Solan. A four-year letter winner, he served as team captain his junior and senior years.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of Mark and Val Sanko. His brother Nick was also an All-American Bomber wrester.
