High School: Stramiello was a four-year wrestler, spending three years at Pine Bush, before transferring to Monroe Woodbury during his senior year. He was a two-time New York State Championships Qualifier, while he was a three-time New York State Section Nine Finalist. He won the New York State Section Nine Championship in his weight class once during his prep career.

Personal: Anthony is the son of John and Marisa Stramiello. He also has a brother, John, who is a junior on IC's wrestling team.
