2009-10: During her senior indoor season, McCormick was the state champion in the 5,000-meter run and an All-NYSCTC selection having finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run. She also placed second at the Empire 8 Indoor Championships in the 5K. McCormick ran season-bests in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs at NYSCTC Indoor Championships by recording times of 10:43.94 and 18:22.24, respectively. McCormick also notched times of 5:30.68 in the mile run and 10:20.03 as a member of Ithaca’s 3,200-meter relay during the indoor season. Outdoors, McCormick competed in a trio of distance events – the 1,500, the 5,000 and the 10,000. She clocked season-best times of 5:10.94, 18:09.45 and 37:34.61, respectively.

2008-09: McCormick was Empire 8 champion in the 5,000-meter run during the outdoor season, 18:44.04. She was also an all-state and all-ECAC performer in the event, placing second (18:32.88) at the NYSCTC Championships and fifth (18:31.75) at the ECAC Championships. She also earned all-state honors in the 1,500 by placing fifth overall. Indoors, McCormick was all-NYSCTC in the 3,000-meter run (fifth) and mile run (seventh).

2007-08: McCormick did not compete as a sophomore.

2006-07: McCormick was named to the President’s List as a freshman.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School, McCormick was coached by Scott Bliss. She earned six varsity letters as a member of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams and was a three-time state champion. She won the outdoor 1,500-meter run title and was a member of the state champions 1,600- and 3,200-meter relay teams during the indoor season. McCormick was named the team's Most Valuable Distance Runner her senior year. She also lettered as a member of the cross country team, which she led to three consecutive state titles and the 2003 New England championship.

Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of William and Luana McCormick.
