Ithaca College Athletics

2012-13: Goodwell earned all-state honors after placing seventh in the 100-yard butterfly at the UNYSCSA Championships. She also earned all-state honors after she placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly. 

2011-12: Goodwell continued to rank among Ithaca's top performers in butterfly events. She was an all-state honoree in the 200 fly by finishing fifth at the state meet with a time of 2:11.70.

2010-11: As a sophomore, Goodwell added another all-state finish by finishing fifth in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.70, which ranks second-fastest in Ithaca history.

2009-10: Goodwell was Ithaca's second-fastest swimmer in butterfly events, with a season-best time of 1:01.25 in the 100 fly and 2:13.42 in the 200 fly. Her performances in those events placed her among the top-15 at the state championship meet.

High School: A 2009 graduate of John Muir High School, Goodwell swam for head coaches Clinton Bailey and Siobhan Goodwell, and also swam at the club level for coach Terri Stoddard for Swim Pasadena. She competed in butterfly and breaststroke events in high school. In 2008 and 2009 she was the league champ in 100-yard breaststroke and a state qualifier in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard breaststroke in 2008 and 2009. She also competed in water polo and was a varsity captain for three years and a member of the league all-star team.

Personal: An athletic training major, she is the daughter of Rick and Jyl Goodwell.
