Ithaca College Athletics

2009-10: Britz competed in individual medley and butterfly events. She clocked a season-best 2:20.16 in the 200 IM at the state and conference championship meet, and placed 11th in the 400 IM with a career-best time of 4:50.79.

2008-09: Britz turned in the second-fastest time of the season for the Bombers in the 400-yard individual medley in finishing 12th at the UNYSCSA championships in 4:51.91. She also turned in the second-fastest time of the year by an Ithaca swimmer in the 200-yard butterfly at the state meet.

2007-08: Britz was a NYSWCAA qualifier in three events and turned in her best performance in the 200-yard freestyle, placing 12th (2:18.56). She took fourth in the Empire 8 in that event and placed fifth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:57.04). Britz was 17th in the 400 IM at the state meet and also qualified for the NYSWCAA Championships in the 200-yard individual medley (placing 31st in 2:23.15).

High School: A 2007 graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Britz ws coached by Patricia Seligman. She earned three varsity letters as a member of the swimming & diving team, which she led to a pair of sectional titles. Britz also swam with the Schenectady Swim Club for coach Jerry Adams and was a district champion.

Personal: A student in the exploratory program, she is the daughter of John and Michele Britz. Her sisters, Jaclyn and Jamie, are both Ithaca graduates.
