Ithaca College Athletics

2011-12: As a sophomore, Ostromecki added three all-state finishes to her list of accomplishments by finishing sixth in the 200-yard individual medley, eighth in the 200-yard backstroke and was on the fifth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team at the UNYSCSA championships. Ostromecki's time of 2:07.19 in the 200 back ranks fifth all-time at Ithaca, and she also ranks in the top-seven on the Ithaca record board in both the 200 and 400 IM.

2010-11: An immediate contributor as a freshman, Ostromecki earned all-America status as a part of the 200-yard medley relay that placed 10th at the NCAA Championships. SHe earned five all-state honors including three in individual events and two Empire 8 runner-up finishes to complete a great first year with the program.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Boyertown Senior High School, Ostromecki swam four years for coach Linda Jones. She was a team captain and team MVP in both her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: An exercise science major, Carlene is the daughter of Walter and Arlene Ostromecki.
