Ithaca College Athletics

2004: A starter in every game, Grys earned second-team Empire 8 all-star honors after helping anchor a defense that ranked 23rd nationally with a goals-against average of 0.634. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.

2003: Grys played in 17 games and made 15 starts. She started every game of the Bombers’ six-game shutout streak in September and helped Ithaca record shutouts in 10 of her 17 appearances. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List.

2002: Grys stepped into a starting role for the last six games of the season, helping the Bombers record a goals-against average of 0.31 over that stretch. She collected four points, recording her first career goal in a conference win over Elmira and adding a score in the Utica win.

High School: At Watching Hills (N.J.) Regional High School, Grys was coached by Peter Lubrecht.

Personal: A health and physical education major, she is the daughter of Paul and Margery Grys.
