Ithaca College announced the hiring of Ellyn Grant-Keane as an assistant coach for women’s soccer in the summer of 2015. She is a 2014 graduate of Ithaca College, and was a four-year contributor to the perennially ranked women’s soccer program.
During her time with the Bombers in a coaching capacity, Grant-Keane has helped IC to a record of 54-28-9. In that time, Ithaca has earned two bids to the NCAA Tournament, most recently receiving an at-large in 2018. Three players have earned All-America honors since Grant-Keane returned to South Hill, including back-to-back nods for forward Alex Epifani in 2018 and 2019.
While at Ithaca, Grant-Keane played in 85 career games. Over four seasons, she scored 21 goals and recorded 30 assists, marking the highest assist total in Bomber history. Two of her season-assist totals rank in the top-10, including an 11-assist effort (2012) that ranks tied for second all-time. Her 72 career points rank tied for ninth in program history.
Grant-Keane helped Ithaca to a record of 66-13-7 during her tenure, including back-to-back 19-win seasons during her junior and senior seasons. She reached the NCAA Tournament all four years on South Hill, most notably helping the Bombers reach the NCAA semifinals in 2012.
