Biography

2013: Callanan played in 21 games and made 20 starts for the Bombers in her senior season. She earned NSCAA All-East Region honors for the second time in her career. Callanan scored five goals and added two assists for 12 points on the year. Three of Callanan's goals were game winners, including two on penalty kicks. Callanan was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team, which marked her third-straight all-conference selection. She carried a three-game goal scoring streak during the season, as she scored three-straight game winners from Aug. 21 –Aug. 28. 2012: Callanan started in all 23 of Ithaca’s games, making her one of five players on the team to start every contest. Callanan finished the year with seven goals, ranking third on the team. Combined with her two assists, Callanan recorded 16 points, the fourth highest total on the roster. Her breakout season earned a spot on the Empire 8 First Team, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Division Scholar All-America Third Team and the NSCAA College Division Scholar All-East Region Second Team. Callanan helped Ithaca clinch the Empire 8 AQ to the NCAA Tournament and a share of the Empire 8 title, as she played all 200 minutes of play in the 1-0-1 weekend. Callanan converted her penalty kick against Nazareth as the Bombers took a 3-2 edge in the shootout, enough to secure the right to advance to the big dance. 2011: Callanan stepped in to a starting role and finished the season as Ithaca’s third-leading scorer. She earned second-team all-star honors from the Empire 8 and also was Ithaca's representative on the Empire 8 Sportsmanship team. Callanan recorded her first career multi-goal game in Ithaca’s win over Marywood. She recorded up a pair of goals – including the game-winning score – as Ithaca beat Hartwick. Callanan’s first collegiate goal was the game-winner in Ithaca’s season-opening victory over #12 New Jersey, breaking the tie with just 52 seconds left in regulation. Callanan was named Empire 8 Player of the Week after tallying a goal and two assists in Ithaca’s final two matches of the regular-season. She assisted on a goal in the victory at Oneonta and collected a goal and an assist in the win over Rochester Institute of Technology. Callanan also notched goals in the win at Cortland and Ithaca’s Empire 8 Championship Tournament semifinal against Nazareth. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester. | 2011 game-by-game statistics

High School: A 2010 graduate of Ballston Spa High School, Callanan was coached by Betsy Dambour. She was a two-year team MVP and earned first-team Suburban Council honors.

Personal: A speech pathology and audiology major, she is the daughter of Tony and Laurie Callanan.
