High School: A 2024 graduate of Saint Dominic Academy, Castaneda was a dual-sport athlete, participating in soccer and indoor/outdoor track & field. In soccer, she was a senior team captain in 2023 and was named to the All-HCIAL American Division. In 2022, she received the Blue Devil Award and was named to both the Second Team All-Hudson County and the All-HCIAL National Division. In 2021, she received All-HCIAL American Division Honorable Mention.
Personal: A Health Sciences major, Alessandra is the daughter of Sandra and Jairo Castaneda.
