High School: A 2022 graduate of West Babylon Senior High School, Russell earned four varsity letters under coaches Colleen Kilgus and Paul DiGuilio and was a captain her senior season. She earned All-County Honorable Mention as a senior and helped lead West Babylon to their first county championship during the 2021 season. 

Personal: An exercise science major, Lauren is the daughter of George and Stephanie Russell. She has an older sister, Kaitlyn, who also plays for the women’s lacrosse, and a younger brother, Sean.
