2005: Stevison earned All-America accolades in the all-around competition for the second consecutive season by placing 10th at the NCGA Championships. She also qualified for the individual competition in two events. She finished seventh on the vault, missing All-America honors by one place, and she finished 12th in the floor exercise. Stevison earned all-conference honors in the all-around competition and floor exercise by placing sixth and 11th, respectively, at the ECAC Championships. She posted a career-best 9.600 on the balance beam at Brockport, matching the school’s fifth-best mark. Stevison recorded four first-place finishes and eight second-place finishes throughout the season.
2004: Stevison recorded one of the most successful rookie seasons ever by a Bomber, earning all-America honors in three events, winning an ECAC title and setting a school record in the floor exercise. She was Ithaca’s first three-event all-American in six years, placing second in the vault, fifth in the floor exercise and seventh in the all-around. She won the ECAC vault title (9.525) then recorded the program’s second-highest score ever (9.7) in placing second at nationals. The NCGA meet was also the site of her school-record performance in the floor exercise (9.85). In the final competition of the regular season she scored a 37.775 at Cornell, good for second on Ithaca’s all-time list. Stevison recorded nine first-place finishes, including wins in the floor exercise and all-around in her collegiate debut.
High School: At Osbourn Park High School, Stevison was coached by Monica Brown. She was the team’s MVP all four years, the Level 9 state champion as a senior, and she placed seventh in the all-around and fourth in vault at Level 9 nationals. In her final year, Stevison placed 10th in the all-around at high school nationals, and earned the first 10.0 ever in VHSL state competition.
Personal: The daughter of Craig and Anne Stevison, she is a clinical science/physical therapy major.
