Biography

2007: Oddo missed the season with an injury. She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the spring semester.

2006: Oddo earned all-America honors in the floor exercise, taking sixth place after scoring a season-high 9.65 in the preliminaries and 9.575 in the finals. Her top regular-season score, 9.575, was good for fifth at Ithaca’s Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational. Oddo won the balance beam against Cortland and Rhode Island College (9.1) and posted a top score of 9.375.

2005: Oddo competed in four meets during her freshman campaign. She recorded a career-best score of 9.250 on the balance beam at the ECAC Championships, placing 14th. Her best score in the floor exercise was a 9.400.

High School: At Red Bank Catholic, Oddo was coached by Maureen Satphen. She was the state champion in the balance beam (setting a state record), uneven bars and all-around. She was a four-time all-state selection. In club competition, Oddo was coached by John Wilton at Wilton Academy of Gymnastics. She was a five-time regional qualifier and a two-time national qualifier. She placed eighth in the floor exercise at the 2003 nationals.

Personal: The daughter of Robert and Mary Oddo, she is a psychology major.
