2008: Ente earned first team All-American honors by placing sixth on the uneven parallel bars at the NCGA Championships with a score of 9.575. She set a school record by scoring 9.725 to win the event in a meet against Cortland and also placed first on the bars against Brockport. She averaged 9.26 for the season on the bars. Recorded a season-best score of 9.35 on the vault and averaged 9.206 on that event. Ente was a member of the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for her academic achievement.
2007: Ente earned all-America honors in the uneven bars with a fourth-place finish (9.475) at the NCGA Championships. Ente also earned all-ECAC honors after finishing second in the uneven bars with a school-record score of 9.625. Ente competed in all seven meets in both the vault and the uneven bars, where she averaged 9.0178 and 9.4678, respectively. She was an NCGA qualifier in the vault and placed 22nd in that event at the ECAC meet (9.200). She was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall and spring semesters.
2006: Ente was one of Division III’s top freshmen and was the highest-placing freshman (in any event) at the NCGA Championships, placing second in the uneven bars. Her top score of the regular season, 9.575, came at the Cornell Invitational. Ente posted a winning score of 9.400 against
Cortland and Rhode IslandCollege. She was named ECAC Rookie of the Week after recording a score of 9.375 against Brockport in her collegiate debut. Ente’s top performance in the vault was a fourth-place showing – with a season-high 9.225 – at Ithaca’s Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational.
High School: Ente competed for Darien YMCA Gymnastics.
Personal: The daughter of Stephen and Gail Ente, she is a clinical science/physical therapy major.
