Ithaca College Athletics

2006: Danziger earned all-ECAC honors in the vault with a sixth-place finish (9.5). She scored a season-best 9.575 in the win over Springfield and placed fifth at the Cornell Invitational (9.175). Her top performance in the floor exercise came at Ithaca’s Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational where she posted a winning score of 9.700. Danziger scored a 9.675 in a meet against Cortland and Rhode Island College.

 

2005: Danziger was among the Bombers’ top competitors on the vault and in the floor exercise. She recorded Ithaca’s second-highest average in the floor exercise. Danziger competed in the event in six meets and scored a 9.500 or higher four times, including a season-best score of 9.575 at the ECAC Championships. Her top score on the vault was 9.475.

2004: Danziger was one of Ithaca’s top competitors in the vault and floor exercise. In her second collegiate meet she set a school record of 9.75 in the vault, winning the event at a Division I competition featuring Brown and Cornell. She tied the school record of 9.85 in the floor exercise during the NCGA championships. Danziger’s overall score of 9.8 at nationals put her one spot away from earning all-America honors. She recorded a top-10 finish in the vault at the ECAC meet (9.325). She also competed in the uneven bars, posting a top mark of 8.925.

High School: Danziger earned four letters at Wayne Hills High School, where she was coached by her mother, Ann Danziger. She also competed for North Stars Gymnastics Academy, where she was coached by Tony and Paula Gehman. A three-time county champion, she placed ninth in the vault at nationals as a senior. Danziger won a JOGA state championship and was state runner-up her other three seasons.

Personal: The daughter of Raymond and Ann Danziger, she is a clinical sciences/physical therapy major.
