High School:
Hannan was a four-sport varsity athlete at the Westover School, playing soccer, lacrosse, swimming, and squash. She spent three years on soccer team, earning Team MVP honors and State All-Star selection in 2014-15. Most related to tennis, she was a two-year contributor on the squash team, earning Most Improved award in 2013-14.

Hannan is the daughter of Katherine Pharibe Wise and Donald Hannan.
