Biography

2008: Schaeffer rowed in the stroke and sixth seat of Ithaca's varsity 8. She earned first-team all-America honors for the second year in a row.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Ithaca High School, Schaeffer was coached by Sean Tobin. She earned two letters in crew, and also letters in basketball, lacrosse, and track and field.

personal: A student in the exploratory program, she is the daughter of Steven and Marcy Schaeffer.
