Biography

2010: Gefell rowed in Ithaca's varsity 8, helping the boat to a gold medal at the state championships, silver medal at the ECAC championships and a fifth place finish at the NCAA championships.

2009: Gefell rowed in Ithaca's varsity 8, helping the boat to a gold medal at the state championships and fourth place at the NCAA Championships grand final.

2008: Gefell rowed in the third seat of Ithaca's varsity 8.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School, Gefell was coached by Jeff Humphreys.

Personal: An occupational therapy major, she is the daughter of Jay and Anne Marie Gefell.
