2010 game-by-game statistics

2009: Van Meter was one of just two freshmen to earn first-team Empire 8 all-star honors. She hit .412 in Empire 8 play, driving in 13 runs in 11 games. Van Meter started her career with a two-hit, two-RBI game in the season-opening win over Brandeis. She recorded 10 more multi-hit games, collecting three hits against Geneseo and four in the opener against St. John Fisher. She drove in seven runs (in just four at-bats) in the sweep at Utica.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Rome Free Academy, VanMeter was coached by Jerry Tabolt. She was a letter-winner in softball, soccer, and indoor track & field. VanMeter earned first-team all-league accolades and was selected to play for the Empire State Team during her junior and senior seasons. She was also named to the All-Central New York team.

Personal: The daughter of Robert and Amy VanMeter, she is a speech pathology major.
