She went 1 for 1 with 2 walks, and 2 RBIs in the 6-1 victory over Oneonta (3/29)... She went 2 for 2 with runs in the 14-0 victory over SUNY Geneseo (4/2)... She went 2 for 3 with 2 runs in the 10-0 victory over Union College (4/4)... She went 2 for 3 with a home run in the 2-1 loss to Union College (4/4)...

High School: A 2022 graduate of Chariho High School, Rao was a named a team captain her senior season...She was a two-sport athlete for the Chargers also playing volleyball...Earned Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division I Honorble Mention her junior season...During her senior year she was Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division I Second Team, Providence Journal All-State Second Team and earned Rhode Island Interscholastic League All-Academic honors.
Personal: Currently majoring in Athletic Training, Ava is the daughter of Lori and Frank Rao.
