2008-09: Stern appeared in four singles matches for the Bombers as a freshman, posting a 2-2 overall record. Both of his wins came in Empire 8 dual matches, one at fifth singles and one at sixth. Stern was also 1-0 in doubles play, earning a win at third doubles with Dan Levine in an Empire 8 match against Alfred.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Fox Lane High School, Stern played four years of varsity tennis for coach Ted Keating. He was part of a league championship team in 2007 and earned all-league at first doubles. He was a team captain as a senior.
Personal: A sociology major, Zach is the son of Brenda and Scott Stern.
