2008-09: Blizniak is serving as a team captain in his senior season.

2007-08: Blizniak scored in three events at the Empire 8 Championships. He was 12th in 500-yard freestyle (5:01.30), 13th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.10) and 17th in the 100 back (58.55).

2006-07: Blizniak posted a pair of top-16 finishes at the state meet, finishing 13th in the 100-yard backstroke (57.69) and 16th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.51). He also scored in the 50-yard freestyle at the state meet, finishing 24th with a time of 23.46. During the season, he recorded top-three finishes in the 100-yard backstroke against Rensselaer and the 200-yard backstroke against Union.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Iroquois High School, Blizniak was coached by Larry Moessinger. He earned six varsity letters as a member of the swimming & diving team and served as team captain his senior year. Blizniak was a six-time sectional qualifier and was a state qualifier in the 100-yard backstroke his senior year. He earned additional varsidty letters as a member of the lacrosse and soccer teams.

Personal: A clinical health studies/physical therapy major, he is the son of Debbie and Michael Blizniak.
