Ithaca College Athletics

High School: A 2024 graduate of Oneida, Ethan served as a team captain and had an outstanding swimming career. He was a 2023 and 2024 YMCA National Qualifier in the 50 and 100 Freestyle. In 2023, he was the NY State Champion in the 100-yard Freestyle, set Tri-Valley League records in the 200-yard Freestyle and 400-yard Freestyle Relay, and was named a NYS Sports Writers Association All-Star. He also claimed the 2023 Section III Championship in the 200-yard Freestyle. In 2024, Ethan received the NYS YMCA Scholar-Athlete Award, was the NYS YMCA Champion in the 200-yard Freestyle, and was honored with the A.A. Angelina Outstanding Athletic Award.

Personal: A Biology major, Ethan is the son of Maria and Dough Schmitt.
