2015: Jacobsen started in 17 games this season for the Bombers…Named Second-Team All-Conference by the Empire 8...Selected as Empire 8 and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week five combined times...Season highlight came against Skidmore College, where he recorded a shutout and a season-high 10 saves…Registered five more shutouts throughout the season…Had two games where he recorded nine saves, one coming against Hobart on Sept. 29 and one coming against Elmira on Oct. 24…Finished the season with 1,619:20 minutes played between the goal posts…Registered a 6-8-3 record on the year…Recorded a 1.11 goals against average and finished the season with 97 saves on a .829 save percentage.  

High School: Jacobsen is a transfer student from Lincoln Memorial University, where he played two years under head coach Helio D’Anna. He graduated from Frederick High School in 2013 where he earned four varsity letters under coach JP Smith. Jacobsen earned All-State honors, as well as being named the Defensive Player of the Year. He holds his high school’s record for shut-outs with 18.

Personal: Zach, son of Timothy Jacobsen and Jeanne Medalis, is an environmental studies major.
