2015: Forward saw action in 16 games this season for the Bombers…Recorded 15 starts on the year…Season highlight came against Utica on Sept. 19, where he scored a game-winning goal and recorded three shots…Registered a season-high six shots against Elmira on Nov. 6…Dished out an assist in two games this year, one coming against St. John Fisher on Sept. 26 and the other coming against Nazareth on Oct. 17…Finished the year with one goal and two assists, totaling four points, and also recorded 30 shots.
2014: Forward started 13 of the Bombers’ games in the 2014 season. Forward was named E8 Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6, 2014 after recording a goal in a 2-2 tie with Hobart and scoring the game-winning goal against Elmira. He tallied eleven points, coming on five goals and one assist. Forward led the Bombers in both points and goals. He had two game-winning goals on the year, coming against Elmira and Utica, which ranked third in the Empire 8. Forward recorded 30 shots on the year, 15 of which were on goal.
2013: Forward started in 16 games for the Bombers in 2013. He earned All-Empire 8 First Team honors and was named to the ECAC Division III Upstate Men's Soccer All-Star Second Team after leading Ithaca in nearly every offensive category. Forward totaled seven goals on the year and paired it with five assists, ending the year with 19 points. He was named Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 21 and ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, after leading Ithaca with a hat trick against Utica. Forward’s three-goal effort marked the first hat trick for the Bombers since 2006 (Kurt Odenbach).
High School: Forward is a graduate of Dover-Sherborn High School. He played four years of varsity soccer for coach Joe Gruseck. Forward earned all-league honors his senior season. He also served as team captain in 2013.
Personal: Sean is a business administration major and is the son of Frank and Martha Forward.
