2016: One of two players to start all 17 contests on the Bombers’ 2016 slate… Earned a spot on the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team and garnered Second-Team All-Conference honors for his 2016 season… Netted five goals on the year, ranked second on the team… Credited with six assists to give him a team-high 16 points on the season… Led the squad in shots with 41, 25 of which were on goal.
2015: Boylan saw action in all 18 games this season for the Bombers…Named Second-Team All-Conference by the Empire 8 ... Recorded 10 starts on the year…Season highlight came against Houghton on Oct. 10, where he scored the game-winning goal, while also recording two shots…Scored a goal and dished out an assist in the game against Utica on Sept. 19…Finished the year with two goals and two assists, totaling six points, and 11 shots.
2014: Boylan played in all 17 games for the Bombers in the 2014 season, starting seven. He tallied one assist on the year, coming against Scranton on Sept. 23, 2014. Boylan finished the year with seven shots, five of which were on goal.
2013: Boylan played in 16 games and made six starts on the year. He recorded 17 shots, nine of which were on goal.
High School: Boylan graduated from Harwood Union High School where he earned four varsity letters in soccer and three letters in ice hockey. Under soccer coach Don Haddox, Boylan was named the 2013 Capital League Player Of The Year. He also earned a spot on the All-Capital First Team.
Personal: Sam is an integrated marketing and design major. He is the son of Jim Boylan and Joanna Duhl.
