Biography

High School: Graduated from Greece Athena High School in 2026...Played four years of varsity soccer and two years of club with the WNY Flash of the ECNL...Served as captain for his varsity team...Collected multiple honors: 2026 Greece Male Athlete of the Year nominee, All-Tournament Team, All-County Team and All-Greater Rochester Honorable Mention...He was selected to participate in the Exceptional Senior Game, while being named Section V Athlete of the Week, Primetime Athlete of the Week, while having a 60-yard goal to win sectionals named Primetime Play of the Day. 

Personal: An Exercise Science major, Ruan is the son of Jason and Renée Schumacher...Has one sibling, Ray, who plays softball at Geneseo.
