2014: Dell’Orto, a team captain, made 23 starts in the outfield and appeared in 26 games throughout the season.  She collected 17 hits and picked up seven RBI. 2013: Dell’Orto played in 38 of the Bombers’ 40 gamed and earned 36 starts in the outfield. She was named to the All-Empire 8 Second Team after hitting .375 in conference play. Her 15 hits in Empire 8 action ranked tied for sixth in the conference. In all games, Dell'Orto ranked second on the team with a .358 batting average that included eight doubles and a home run. 2013 marked the second-straight year that Dell'Orto was voted to the All-Empire 8 Second Team. 2012: Dell’Orto started 45 games as a sophomore while earning Second Team All-Empire 8 honors. She was tied for the team lead in doubles (10) and ranked second in runs batted in with 29. High School: Dell'Orto is a 2010 graduate of East Islip High School where she was a four-year varsity softball player as a pitcher and outfielder. She earned all-county and all-league honors as a senior and was a four-year scholar-athlete.

Personal: A mathematics education major, Rachel is the daughter of Patrick and Michelle Dell'Orto.
